This is pretty awesome! CAPPA (Childbirth And Postpartum Professional Association) is holding their 2009 conference here in Scottsdale! It's free to members, but it only costs $45 to join! You can't beat that price for a four day conference! There are a couple of extra sessions that cost extra, but most of the conference is available for that price. There are going to be a ton of awesome speakers, among whose numbers will be Barbara Harper, international waterbirth authority, and one of my favorite local midwives, Stephanie Soderblom, who will be speaking on birth in the media! I'm considering joining in order to go! Check it out!
